Overall structure

This thesis followed the design science research methology, combining engineering and research cycles. In the course, several questions were rised to get a proper answer. The figure below shows the main questions and the relation between them. It also gives the deliverables and artifacts that have been produced in response to those questions. All these elements are arranged in the different chapters considered in the dissertation as depicted in the figure. In a nutshell, this figure summarizes the structure and the content of the thesis, giving you a hint on what chapter you should explore to find each different topic.
